Every application has basic building blocks.

Separation Type

Number

Your contacts can be separated either using line separation or comma separation between the contacts.Example:

This refers to the field where you insert the contacts you want to send the texts to. Note: The contacts should be in 233 format. Eg: 233203040224 not 0203040224

Remove Duplicates

This checkbox is used to remove duplicates in the Number field.

Sender

Insert your sender ID in this field. Your sender ID refers to the name of the of the person/company sending the texts. Eg: AMS GH, x Ministry etc.

Message Type

Refers to the type of message you want to send it could be flash, text, arabic, unicode, unicode flash etc.

Flash SMS is a type of SMS that appears directly on the main screen without user interaction and is not automatically stored in the inbox.

Text SMS is a type of SMS that appears on the users mobile device and is automatically stored in the inbox.

Arabic SMS is a type of SMS that appears in the Arabic reading and writing format.

Unicode SMS is a type of SMS where the message is in a different language other than English.

Unicode Flash SMS is a combination of Flash SMS AND Unicode SMS .

We advice you stick to the default format which is Text SMS.

Select Message

Saved messages on the portal can be sent by selecting the message from this field. This saves the time used in typing the same message over and over again.

Message

This field is where you type the message you want to send to your contacts.

Characters

This field shows the number of characters in your typed message. Note: 160 characters make one(1) page

Upload File

Upload your contact files here. Contacts must be in csv, xls or txt format.

Schedule

Schedule messages to send later here.

Message

This field is where you type the message you want to send to your contacts.

Sender

Insert your sender ID in this field. Your sender ID refers to the name of the of the person/company sending the texts

Message Type

Message Length

Refers to the type of message you want to send it could be flash, text, arabic, unicode, unicode flash etc.

This refers to how long the message is in terms of characters. You will find the number of characters in the message in this field

Sent

Find the number of sent texts in this field. Note: This refers number of sent texts and not the number of delivered texts.

Total Destination

Refers to the number of texts that reached the contacts.

Message Parts

Every 160 characters makes 1 part. In this field you will find how many parts your text message was sent in.

Scheduled

This contains information on the time the text was scheduled.

Status

This field contains information on whether your message was completed or not.

Download all the information in the Job management using the link found in this field

Group Name

This refers to the name you will give to your set of contacts you want to store in a group.

Contact Name

This refers to the name of a single contact in the group or distribution list.

Contact Number

This refers to the number of a single contact in the group or distribution list.

Add

Use this button to add contacts to the group or distribution list.

Reset

This button is used to reset the entire group or distribution list.

List Name

This refers to the name you will give to the set of contacts you want to store in a distribution list.

Delete Selected

Use this button to delete a selected number of contacts from the distribution list.

Credit Status

Contains current credit details. The amount of credit in your Bulk SMS account.

Search Category

Limit your report query to a certain country, mobile operator, date and day using the Search category.

Outstanding Overdraft

Find the amount of credit used without purchase.

Credit Balance

Your current account balance for the Bulk SMS portal.

Date From

This refers to the date you want to start the search query from.

Date To

This refers to the date you want to end the search query at.

Credit Adjusted

Amount of credit sent to your account by AMS for refund purposes.

Overdraft Adjusted

Amount Increase or Decrease in overdraft based on payment by the customer.

Today's Log

This displays the report for the current date.

Export Log

Convert the SMS report to another file format using this checkbox.

Balance

The amount of credit available on the SMS portal.

Total Overdraft

The Total amount of credit used without purchase on the Bulk SMS portal.

Total Credit Deducted

The total amount of credit subtracted from your current balance.

DLR Received Date

This provides you with the date of the delivery receipts which indicate the status of the SMS.

Message Id

It refers to a unique identifier for SMS. Every SMS has a unique identifier.

Received Date

This refers to the date the SMS was received by the number.

Done Date

This refers to the date the SMS is delivered.

Profile

Here you can find your username, password, company name, contact person, phone number and email.

Change Password

Insert your old password and the new password you want to set in these fields

Country

This refers to the country of the mobile operator.

Operator

This refers to the mobile network of the contacts you will send texts to.

MCC

This refers to the Mobile Country Code. Note: Ghana has a MCC of 620.

MNC

This refers to the Mobile Network Code of the operator. Every operator has a different MNC.

Price

This field contains the routing price in Ghana cedis.
